The Honors and Awards ceremony recognizing the achievements of the Class of 2013 will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18 in the Commencement tent. Graduates, families and guests are asked to be seated in the tent by 10:30 a.m., as there will be no formal procession of graduates.
Honor cords will be presented at the ceremony. Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.60 or higher will receive honor cords, which are worn at Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement.
The Office of Academic Affairs handles all announcements concerning Honors and Awards. Students should not contact the office to determine their eligibility for honors. Just before Commencement weekend, on late Friday afternoon, a list of the Latin honors recipients will be posted on the Salve Regina website. All baccalaureate degree candidates will be notified by e-mail with a link to the web page.
