Tryouts and preseason take place during the last two weeks in August. During these weeks, expect double/triple sessions daily. The season runs through the middle of November with games and tournaments throughout New England.
Typically 12-15 athletes depending on talent and athletic ability. We look for dedicated, hard-working student athletes who demonstrate the ability and desire to play college-level volleyball.
Absolutely. Playing at the college level requires training year-round. During the spring semester there will be offseason practices and matches. You'll be required to participate in a strength training and endurance program and will have access to the weight-room throughout the academic year. The summer months are crucial to further your development for the next season. We have a summer workout program and reporting schedule in place to keep track of your improvements.
As a member of the NCAA Division III, we adhere to the philosophy of "academics before athletics." Financial aid is offered on a need basis, no athletic scholarships are offered. However, qualified students are eligible for merit scholarships based on academics. Visit our admissions area on the web for more information about academic scholarships.
