Q: What conference do you play in?

A: The Commonwealth Coast Conference which includes Anna Maria College, Colby Sawyer College, Curry College, Eastern Nazarene College, Endicott College, Gordon College, New England College, Nichols College, Regis College, Roger Williams University, University of New England, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Western New England College

Q: When does your season start?

A: October 15

Q: Can I play more than one sport?

A: Yes

Q: How many games do you play?

A: We have two scrimmages per season, 25 regular season games, and 3 play off games if we are able to reach the CCC Final. If we win the CCC Championship, we receive an automatic bid to the NCAA D-III Tournament.

Q: When do you practice?

A: We usually practice 6 days/week for about 2 hours. We arrange practice times around the academic schedules of our players. We lift weights and watch film in addition to practice. We usually total approximately 70 practices throughout the season.

Q: Do you take trips?

A: We traveled to San Diego, CA in December 2006. Our goal is to travel every three years.

Q: How many players are on the team?

A: 12-14 players are on the team each season.

Q: What should I do if I'm interested in playing basketball at Salve Regina?

A: Send a recent film to Coach Van Voorhis for evaluation purposes, send an e-mail stating your interest, and complete the online questionnaire.
