Coach Kerri Scroope - Women's Soccer

Kerri Scroope Kerri Scroope, who will also assume duties as an assistant facilities coordinator, has worn many coaching hats in the past ten years. The last two years she has coached three different sports at three different high schools. She was the head girls' soccer coach at Apponequet (Lakeville, Mass.) since 2002. One year later she added the head coaching responsibilities for girls' basketball at Bourne High School. In March 2006 Scroope took over as head coach of the softball program at Dartmouth High School after having served as junior varsity softball coach at Apponequet for three seasons.

The multi-sport coach and athlete lettered two seasons each in basketball and soccer at Division I Stony Brook where she earned a bachelor's degree in social sciences. She's advancing her studies at Bridgewater State College, working towards a pair of master's degrees in elementary education and educational leadership.

Scroope graduated from Mount Sinai (N.Y.) High School after lettering four years at the varsity level in soccer and softball, and three years in basketball. During her career, she earned all-league, all-conference, and most valuable player honors. She began developing her coaching skills as a volunteer for a summer basketball league right after graduation.

In addition to volunteer experience with the Bay State Games, Scroope also taught basic skills and fundamentals at basketball and soccer camps hosted by Stony Brook. She leaves her full-time post as a Dartmouth Middle School teacher after four years.

Scroope takes over the Seahawk coaching duties from eight-year head coach Lisa Yenush, who stepped down to handle increased administrative duties as associate athletic director.
