Andy LeColst - Men's Ice Hockey

Head Coach Andy LeColst Since his playing days at Salem State College ended in 2001, Andy LeColst has been the president/head coach of the Middleton Mustangs U18 Junior Hockey Team. He played a major role in placing players in hockey programs at the Division I and Division III levels.

LeColst also has served as the director of scouting for the Jacksonville Barracudas of the Southern Professional League since January of 2005 and has been an assistant coach with the Peabody (Mass.) High School hockey team.

"I am excited about the opportunity to coach at the Division III level," LeColst said. "There is plenty of potential with the Salve Regina program. This is a beautiful campus, and I feel fortunate to be a part of the school."

LeColst takes over for Christopher MacPherson, who set a school record with 58 victories over his six seasons as head coach. The Seahawks were 10-14-1 last season, and reached the ECAC Northeast quarterfinals before falling to UMass Dartmouth.
