The team ended their regular season playing above .500 after an 0-10 start. Melissa Bowen [SR/Hudson, Mass.], Kathryn Kasko [SR/Lehighton, Pa.], Alison Morrissey [JR/Worcester, Mass.] and Jennifer Terrill [SR/St. Johnsbury, Vt.] were named to the CCC All-Academic Team while Erin Larrivee [SR/Somerset, Mass.] received Honorable Mention for pitching and Katie Thayer [FR/Abington, Mass.] made Second Team designated player. "We got off to a slow start, but once we began our conference schedule we played very well," said head softball coach Lisa Yenush, who guided the Seahawks to a 10-3 (.769) mark at home. "This team possessed a lot of heart and really came together as a group. I was really proud of these players and thoroughly enjoyed coaching them." |
