Dupuis, who hails from Connecticut, double majored in secondary education and theatre arts and minored in English literature at Salve Regina. Like many others, she stumbled on the University as a child while vacationing with her family in Newport. During her college search, Dupuis thought back to the Gilded Age mansions perched on seaside cliffs and did a little research. She was thrilled to find an excellent educational program and, after visiting, discovered that the Salve Regina community was just as beautiful as its historic campus.
Dupuis reflects fondly on her undergraduate years, especially the opportunities for leadership as a resident assistant, orientation leader, freshman mentor and campus tour guide. She believes that working in the Office of Admissions is an ideal way to give back to her alma mater.
The pace of Aquidneck Island, paired with its rich history, makes living "on the island" so unique. Dupuis loves living in Newport and enjoys relaxing with a book at Second Beach, running at Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge, boating in the harbor at sunset and indulging in fresh local cuisine.
