Undergraduate Majors and Minors

With a wide range of liberal arts and pre-professional programs to choose from, Salve Regina offers students the opportunity to explore their interests and define their goals. Whether an incoming freshman has a set career path in mind or is "undecided," dedicated faculty and staff members are available each step of the way to assist students in plotting a course for success.

Salve Regina students declare a major by the end of their second year, allowing time to explore fields of interest and examine the range of possibilities. Many students choose to declare a minor or double major if they have more than one academic interest. Academic programs vary in size, but all share a focus on quality and a commitment to preparing students to be competitive and flexible as they begin to shape their careers in today's work force.

The trip provides participants with a unique opportunity to personally experience the effects of modernization on an Islamic culture, and to view the possibility of coexistence between and among many seemingly contradictory forces of change.
