Salve Regina's graduate program in management prepares professionals to successfully lead and manage within today's ever-evolving and increasingly global business environment. It is ideal for students seeking career advancement in fields that demand strong interpersonal skills, such as human resources, law enforcement and organizational development.
Our new concentration in nonprofit management exposes students to the key management issues necessary to lead a nonprofit organization. Through coursework in nonprofit management, marketing, human resources and financial management, students explore the nuances of leading in this important sector.
Our program, accredited by the International Assembly of Collegiate Business Education, develops leaders who are versed not only in law, human resources and research methods, but also ethics, organizational behavior and strategic management. In keeping with the University's mission, we prepare students to face the challenges of balancing fiscal accountability with a strong commitment to the well being of their employees and their local community.
We accomplish this by integrating theoretical coursework with the practical experience of our highly qualified faculty. And, small class sizes allow us to work closely with students to tailor our program to meet their individual career goals. Internships, in a variety of fields and organizations, are a valuable option for students and provide them with opportunities to network with other business professionals and identify areas of interest.
With 18 elective credits, our program offers students the ability to customize their degree program to support their personal and professional goals. To meet the time demands of our working students, we offer courses at our Newport campus, our Center for Adult Education in Warwick and online.
