Business Administration (MBA)

Salve Regina's graduate program in business administration prepares professionals to successfully lead and manage within today's ever-evolving and increasingly global business environment. It is ideal for students seeking career advancement in fields that demand strong quantitative skills, such as accounting, finance and financial management.

Our new concentration in nonprofit management exposes students to the key management issues necessary to lead a nonprofit organization. Through coursework in nonprofit management, marketing, human resources and financial management, students explore the nuances of leading in this important sector.

Our program, accredited by the International Assembly of Collegiate Business Education, develops leaders who are versed not only in finance, economics and accounting, but also ethics, organizational behavior and strategic management. In keeping with the University's mission, we prepare them to face the challenges of balancing fiscal accountability with a strong commitment to the well being of their employees and their community.

We accomplish this by integrating theoretical coursework with the practical experience of our highly qualified faculty. And, small class sizes allow us to work closely with students to tailor our program to meet their individual career goals. Internships in a variety of fields and organizations are a valuable option for students and provide them with opportunities to network with other business professionals and identify areas of interest.

With courses available at our Newport campus and online, our programs offer students a flexible schedule and an opportunity to accelerate the completion of their degree.
