Personal Statement
I coordinate the business administration major at Salve
Regina, teaching undergraduate courses in management, including Organizational
Behavior, Business Communications and Business Research. I also teach undergraduate
and graduate human resources classes on campus and as an interactive graduate
online version. In support of the University’s mission statement, I coordinate
service learning options for students to perform community educational programs
to underserved populations. I am the chapter adviser of Sigma Beta Delta, the business
national honor society and also advise many current majors and new students in
a New Student Seminar program. My past work has included management in both
retail and nonprofit sectors and management consulting. I have presented papers
at national and international scholarly conferences, and have been an invited
speaker at international businesses and professional organizations. My works
have been published as a book, a chapter in a book and in scholarly journals. I
am also a professional reviewer for management journals and books. My most
important work is with students developing and encouraging their business,
community and life skills.
