Major in Psychology (B.A.)
Students majoring in psychology take a minimum of 13
courses (39 credits), seven of which must be taken on campus. Majors are
expected to maintain a GPA of 2.0 in all psychology courses.

Students choose three additional upper-level electives in
psychology.
Psychology majors are encouraged to take courses in
biology, such as Human Biology combined with one other biology course, the
General Biology sequence or the Human Anatomy and Physiology sequence, to
fulfill their six-credit Core Curriculum requirement as preparation for the required
course Physiological Psychology.
Minor in Psychology
Students completing a minor in
psychology take a minimum of six courses (18 credits), four of which must be
taken on campus. Minors are expected to maintain a GPA of 2.0 in all psychology
courses.

Students choose five additional upper-level
electives in psychology.
