Rachel Stango '12
Southbury, Conn.
Major: Music
Rachel Stango '12 knew that joining two choral groups would be a challenge. What she didn't know is that she would find a group of people that would become like family and push her to become a better vocalist.

"Sitting through two rehearsals can be very long, but when you get up there and hear everyone singing together, it is so satisfying," Stango says. "(Director) Don St. Jean just makes it easier to learn the difficult pieces. Even when you have trouble with the difficult parts, he's always behind you."

Salve Regina's choral ensembles present performances that run the gamut from formal concerts in Ochre Court with soloists and orchestras to informal performances at events sponsored by the Salve Music Ensembles Club. Opportunities to sing solo and in small groups at selected concerts are available to members by audition.
