Patrick Ferguson was selected from his nursing class to deliver the student speech during the Nursing Ceremony and Pinning during Commencement Weekend 2010. Ferguson was a work-study student in the nursing lab, assisting underclassmen with studying and practicing procedures. He is currently working in the surgical intensive care unit at the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven, Conn., as a registered nurse and continuing his work as a volunteer EMT. His long term goal is to become a flight nurse.
