Alex Bush ’06

Bush is an analytical research and development chemist at Collegium Pharmaceutical in Coventry, R.I. A privately held, specialty pharmaceutical company, Collegium Pharmaceutical focuses on late-stage development and commercialization of prescription pharmaceuticals for the treatment of central nervous system, respiratory and skin-related disorders. Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Onset Therapeutics, the company also markets innovative proprietary therapies to the wound care and dermatology markets.

Kimberly Mixter Meinweiser ’04

Meinweiser is a forensic scientist with the Virginia Department of Forensic Science. A nationally accredited forensic laboratory system, the department serves all state and local law enforcement agencies, medical examiners and Commonwealth’s Attorneys in Virginia. The department provides technical assistance and training, evaluates and analyzes evidence, interprets results and offers expert testimony related to the full spectrum of physical evidence recovered from crime scenes.

Angela Ubriaco Murray ’81

Murray is the manager of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine’s immunopathology laboratory at the NewYork Presbyterian Hospital/Cornell Medical Center. Laboratory personnel perform a variety of immunophenotyic analytic tests, including immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry and in situ hybridization. The laboratory performs approximately 75,000 immunophenotypic tests per year and is also responsible for accepting and the initial processing of samples for DNA/RNA analysis of leukemias and lymphomas.

Michael Staff ’94

Staff is the president of the U.S. office of Minakem, LLC, a manufacturer of fine chemicals, advanced cosmetology, active pharmaceutical ingredients and pharmaceutical intermediates. A “one-stop-shop” group serving the life science industries, Minakem focuses on the synthesis of tailor-made molecules, their formulation, their dose-forming and the production of registration dossiers for approval of the manufacturing process. Headquartered in France, the company has additional facilities in China and Germany.
