Environmental Club
The Environmental Club raises awareness of global and
local issues surrounding the preservation of the environment. Activities
include a recycling program, film series, cleanups at local beaches, the annual
BIO Blitz for finding new species and seal and whale watching. Click here to learn more about the Salve Regina sustainability program.
Pre-Med Club
The Pre-Med Club serves the entire campus by providing
information about careers in health. Activities include a speaker series,
volunteer opportunities at hospitals across the state, study groups and free
practice exams for the national tests. The Pre-Med Club works closely with
Salve Regina’s pre-health professions advisers.
Student Alliance for Interdisciplinary Life Sciences
(SAILS)
Open to all students, SAILS serves members of the University community
who are interested in the life sciences by offering field trips, career
exploration programs, alumni nights, seal and whale watching sails, speakers,
trips to museums and screenings of scientific and science-related films.
Service outreach programs bring children from local elementary and middle
schools to the campus for hands-on science experiences and career information
sessions.
