Business Office

Several important dates and deadlines related to Business Office functions are coming up.

  • Fall semester tuition bill: The fall semester tuition bill is due Aug. 1. Class attendance is permitted only for students who have paid the bill in full by the start of class. Learn more about payment options.
  • Student health insurance waiver: All full-time undergraduates are automatically enrolled in the University's student accident and sickness insurance plan. To waive coverage, you need to provide proof of comparable coverage by completing an online waiver by Aug. 1. Learn more about student medical insurance.
  • Tuition refund insurance: All incoming students are automatically registered for an insurance plan that guarantees a tuition and room and board refund in cases of physical or mental illness any time during the semester. Disability Services

Disability Services ensures that students with disabilities receive appropriate academic and non-academic accommodations or adjustments in order to participate fully in the University’s educational, residential, social and recreational programs.

Academic accommodations may include visual or hearing impairment technology devices, recorded texts or other assistive technology, note-takers, scribes for exams, ASL interpreters, separate location for exams, extended time for exams, classroom relocation and/or accessible or preferential classroom seating. Non-academic accommodations may include housing accommodations, service animals, emotional support animals and/or campus life and co-curricular accommodations.

Important Dates and Deadlines


July 1: Deadline to submit completed health forms to Health Services.

July 1: Preferred deadline to submit requests for non-academic accommodations – including housing accommodations, service animals and campus life/co-curricular accommodations – to the Office of Disability Services.

July 15: Deadline to submit an official high school transcript to the Office of Admissions.

Week of July 17: Housing assignments announced. Instructions for accessing housing assignments will be sent to students' Salve Regina email accounts.


Aug. 1: Deadline to pay the fall semester tuition bill.

Aug. 1: Deadline to waive participation in the University's accident and sickness insurance plan. Learn more and waive coverage at

Aug. 8: Deadline to submit the housing agreement to the Office of Residence Life.

Beginning Aug. 12: Students participating in fall sports arrive on campus for preseason. Move-in dates are sport-specific and student-athletes will receive more information from their coaches.

Aug. 27-31: Orientation for international students and U.S. citizens living abroad. These students should complete the international Orientation registration form by Aug. 1.


Sept. 1: Orientation for transfer students and first-year students who were unable to attend a June session.

Sept. 1: Deadline for students who took French, Italian or Spanish in high school and wish to continue with that language at Salve Regina to complete the language placement exam.

Sept. 1: Deadline to submit emergency contact information to the Office of Student Affairs. The form is available at in the User Account section of WebAdvisor for Students.

Sept. 3: Move-in day for the Class of 2021. Staff will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to check in resident students.

Sept. 6: First day of classes for the fall 2017 semester.

Sept. 8: Deadline to complete the MyStudentBody online alcohol course. Learn more at

May 1: Students receive their network username and password via email.

May 3: Orientation registration opens. The deadline to register is June 2.

May 8: Applications open for Service Plunge, a challenging and fun opportunity to lead and learn through service. The deadline to apply is June 30.

May 15: Housing agreements open at Applications must be submitted by July 1.

May 15: Deadline to complete financial aid verification paperwork. Selected students and families will be notified by the Office of Financial Aid.

May 15: Deadline for students accepting the federal loans offered in their financial aid award to complete master promissory notes and entrance counseling.
